TEETH!!

Ella has her two bottom front teeth in. They are so cute. She doesn't like to let us look at them very much. She always hides them with her tongue. Needless to say I couldn't get a picture of them... I made Charley's Father's Day dinner tonight since we were so busy last weekend with graduation and stuff. We are having meatloaf, corn on the cob, rice, and apple crisp for dessert. All of Charley's favorites. : )

Julia graduated from Eureka High on June 15th. Charley and I took Ella to the graduation ceremony with us. We were so surprised she did so good. Auntie Deb and Sage held her most of the time. She even fell asleep! Then we went to the after party where we had dinner and hung out with the family. Ella did really good there as well. We didn't even get home until 8:30 pm. We had a very long weekend, but it was awesome to spend time with the family. Congrats to Julia!

Ella's First Swim

Ella got to go swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Peper's house on Sunday. The water was a little cold even for us, but Ella didn't seem to mind. She was having fun kicking her legs in the water.

Ella's New Walker

I got Ella a new walker. I have been waiting for it all week!! It finally arrived last night. I couldn't wait until this morning when she woke up so that I could show it to her. Her eyes just lit up the first time she saw it. She doesn't really understand that she can walk in it yet. She is just trying to put everything in her mouth. She will get the hang of it soon enough.

Peas, cereal and TOES!!??

Ella has been eating solid foods for a couple of weeks now. She has tried carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, and apples. I feed her in her bouncy chair every morning and night. She likes to eat what she has in her mouth and then suck on her toes. It is too funny. I finally was able to capture it with the camera today. So far her favorite seems to be carrots. We still have pears and bananas to try. She is going to be five months old tomorrow!! She is starting to do better when other people watch her as she gets older. I think she may be coming a little more independent. ; ) Julia had her senior prom last weekend. It was fun to help her get ready and to take pictures. She looked gorgeous as always. It reminds me how old I am getting.... I had my senior prom over five years ago!! YIKES. Julia's graduation is next Friday. I am getting so excited about seeing my family that is going to come up for it. They will finally get to meet Ella! I can't wait.
