Tomorrow is the Big Day!

"Go Ferndale!!!"

Oh my gosh, I am getting so nervous! This time tomorrow my mouth will be cut open! Ahhh!! I'm not looking forward to it at all, but am glad that I am getting it over with. I've already got my smoothie supplies since that's all I'll be able to eat for a while. I'm glad Charley will be home to take care of Ella for me. I'm not looking forward to going to work on Friday looking like a chipmonk...
I got to babysit my baby nephew Luke this week. The poor guy just wanted his mommy. He cried the whole time. It's funny how quickly I've forgotten how much work newborns are! Brought me back to when Ella was a baby with colic. Fun times...
We had kind of a crazy morning last Wednesday. I heard a scratching sound coming from the living room. I went into the living room and could see the pipe for the wood stove shaking. I started to freak out because I figured it was a rat. I ran and shut the door so it couldn't get into the house. I got Charley to come home from work and we got it into a box and slid a cookie sheet over the top of it. Charley ran out into the back yard and took the lid off. Much to his surprise it flew away!! It was a bird...

It's Been a While

With her Valentine's present.

All cozy watching Elmo

I just haven't been able to get a blog up these past few weeks. My life is consumed with Ella, my jobs, and trying to keep up our house (which I'm so horrible at!). Charley has been really helpful lately with getting chores around the house done. I don't know what I would do without him!
Ella is getting really good at using her potty. It's funny how she just decided one day that she wanted to start using the potty instead of wearing a diaper. She's saying all kinds of new words and phrases. Some include "oh my gosh!", "ohhh noooo!", and many more that sometimes I can't even understand what she is saying.
We didn't get to spend Valentine's together because I had to work. We were sooooo incredibly busy. I was completely exhausted by the time I got home (12:30 AM). Not really how I pictured spending Valentine's Day, but it was worth the money. Charley got me a new ipod that holds more songs than my old one. I love it! And of course some flowers.
Ella has her 2 year check up this week, so I can't wait to see how much she's grown. I know it's a lot!

Bad News....

The dogs had her cornered because she was eating...

Actually taking a nap...

Today I had an appointment with an oral surgeon, and he said I need to have my wisdom teeth out ASAP! Less than a year ago I had a different oral surgeon tell me that I didn't need to have them removed ever unless they cause me problems. My dentist insisted that I get second opinion. I know it's for the best, but I am really not looking forward to it! I also have to pay $400... At least I have insurance I guess, but I can think of a million ways I rather spend $400!!! Like putting that money towards debt that I already have!!

Dad and I had a wonderful Sunday run in beautiful weather. We both woke up Monday morning with a stomach bug! I rested all day until I had to go to work at 4. Thankfully I felt better by then.

On to better news... Ella is peeing in her potty almost all day long! I can't believe what a big girl she is. She just started doing it all on her own. Now I know that she is ready, unlike before when I've forced her to. She just tells us "pee pee potty" and we let her in the bathroom. I can't wait to not have to buy diapers anymore!

I only have one more day of work this week. I actually have the weekend off for once, which works out perfect because one of my best friends is going to be in town. I'm getting excited for the weekend.
