HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We ended up dressing Ella up just a little bit. We got the idea to paint whiskers on her face and get her some ears and a tail. I thought it was the perfect outfit for her first Halloween. We went over to Charley's sister's house for a little Peper family get-together. All of the older kids went trick-or-treating and we took Ella home to put her to bed. She was exhausted from playing all day long.

Happy Monday

Well, it was a hard weekend to get through without mom and dad around. They went to Pismo Beach to see Mema and won't be back until this weekend. Ella and I had to run alone yesterday. It was really hard having to push Ella in her jogger. We got a good workout anyway. Ella started trying to snap when we snap for her. It is so cute to watch.

We Did It!!!!

Today was the day of the Rewoods Marathon. Dad and I finished the half marathon (13) miles in 2 1/2 hours. It was beautiful running through the Avenue of the Giants. The air was really chilly when we got there, but the fog burned off and the sun eventually came out. It was an awesome run to say the least. Now I'm just very worn out. I'm ready for bed. : )

Also, I forgot to report Ella's stats from her 9 month check-up. She weighed 19 pounds 8 ounces and was 28 inches long. She is in the 60th percentile for both weight and height.

Yesterday she clapped for the first time!! Now we say, "yay Ella", and she claps for us. So cute!

Pumpkin Patch

We took our first trip to the pumpkin patch as a family. Ella didn't know what to think of all the pumpkins, but she sure did like to bang on them like drums. We were able to find two nice pumpkins. Most of them were starting to mold, so I'm happy we got there when we did.

New baby!!

No, I didn't have another one! Ella is definitely enough for a while. She's just one big ball of energy. My friend Lynne had her baby Trenton last Thursday. It was so weird to hold such a small baby. I can't even believe Ella was ever that small. She is a giant compared to him and they are only 9 months apart. I can't wait to watch Trenton grow. Congrats Lynne and Gabe! He sure is a cutie.

Ella is so darn cute. I think she has to be one of the cutest babies out there. She has her nine month check-up tomorrow, so I'm excited to see how much she has grown in three months. This is our last weekend before the half marathon! I'm really excited to run in it next weekend. I'm kind of sad Ella won't get to join us. She has been training with us this whole time. I just can't believe it is next week.

Just a Little Late...

I haven't been able to keep up on my Sunday posts, so I've decided that I will shoot to do my posts at some point during the week. Ella is nine months today!!! Only three more months until her first birthday. Time is going by so fast. Time flies when you are having fun, right?!

My Sleeping Angel

So far things are going pretty good this week. Charley has been really nice and let me rest up these past few days. I finally feel better today after a few days of feeling icky. I've been getting lots of sleep and it feels great.
