Ella is Under the Weather....We think!!

Ella went to the doctor for a check-up last night for her ear infections that she had a few weeks ago. We discovered that she had a low grade fever. Dr. Jeff said that she may be coming down with something and to just monitor her. She woke up around 1 A.M. with a fever of 103!! I called Dr. Jeff and he said not to worry. She stayed home from daycare and Charley stayed home to watch her. She seems to be doing just fine. She's playing just like normal, so we are hoping that it doesn't turn into anything serious. I took her tempature about an hour ago and it was under 100 degrees! Hopefully tomorrow she will be back at daycare and feelin' good again.

Ella's favorite new thing to do is to open her dresser drawers and pull her clothes out and throw them all over the floor. It doesn't matter how many toys she has, she rather play with her drawers and make a mess. She can get around really quick these days. She's always wanting to stand up no matter where she is. We have to really keep an eye on the girl.

We had our fourth and final wedding last Saturday!! It was a really nice day out in Trinidad. Ella had a ball crawling on the grass. She was the life of the party again of course! There was even a "father/daughter" dance and Charley took Ella to the dance floor for their first dance. So cute! I've had fun at all the weddings this summer, but I sure am happy we are done.

We attended our third wedding this summer on Saturday. The location was gorgeous. It was in Trinidad at this house that overlooks the ocean. We had a really good time hanging out with friends and getting to hear all the new things going on in their lives. Ella had fun crawling around on the dance floor. She even danced with me when the band started playing. It was a long day, but was so much fun. We have one more wedding to go to next weekend. Then we're done!! A month of weddings can be quite exhausting.

What a Weekend!!

We went to our second wedding this summer on Saturday for my childhood friend Amanda. I went to the ceremony alone, and then Charley and Ella went with me to the reception. Ella was a hit, of course. Everyone just loves her. After the wedding I hung out with one of my friends who moved away a little while ago. It was fun to get out without the baby. Thank you Charley for watching the little princess!! Sunday I went running with my Dad. I'm training to run a half marathon in October. I've done a little over six miles the last two Sundays. I'm about half way there! Ella was up last night from 2:30-3:30. Her teeth were really bothering her. I gave her some tylenol and she eventually passed out. Needless to say, I'm wiped out today! Hopefully I can go to bed early tonight to catch up on some sleep.

Ella Can Pull Herself Up!! Oh no!!!!

Ella pulled herself up last night for the first time!! I can't believe it. Now she is really going to be moving and getting into everything. We're going to have to keep a close eye on that girl. Grandma Monroe said that she will be walking by 9 months!! That is such a scary thought... Seems like not that long ago she learned how to roll over. She is also exclusively crawling when she is on the ground. She doesn't scoot at all. Charley is sleeping in right now. It's only fair since I was up all night with Ella, right? He told me that he was tired... Grrr!!! Ella has a stuffy nose, so she is unable to suck on her binky. This makes for a very crabby baby!! She will not sleep. And what does that mean? I don't sleep either. : (
