Ella actually napping because she had a fever and didn't feel good.

We just had a few days in a row of gorgeous weather. It was nice to have a couple good runs in it. We were really slow at work those days, so I'm guessing everyone was out barbecuing!
Ella has been very insistent lately that she dress herself... Last night she had a total of 5 different shirts on. She even put her pants on herself.
I finally got my letter from the nursing program and I am number 73 on the wait list. I was pretty disappointed when I read it. I was hoping to be within the first 45 so that I would for sure have a spot. Hopefully I will still get in fall of 2010 like I have been planning on. Let's just hope some of the people in front of me get in somewhere else. It's exciting to know that I'm actually on the list though. I know everything will work out the way it's supposed to.

Last week Ella and I got to watch my baby nephew Luke. Ella had so much fun helping me with him. She made she he always had his binky and she helped hold his bottle when I fed him. I can't believe that she was ever that small! Ella also managed to tear apart the house while I held Luke as he slept. I think she was looking for some attention...

My birthday ended up being on Easter this year. Charley had the day off, so we were able to spend it as a family. We went and got waffles for breakfast and then went to my sister-in-law's church for an Easter service. She also got baptized during the service, so it was neat to get to see that. Then we came home and I climbed in bed and took a nap while Ella and Charley went grocery shopping. We went to Charley's parent's for a yummy ham dinner and then to my parent's for some birthday cake. I think I may have gained about 5 pounds after all the candy and cake I ate! I'm going to do some extra time at the gym this week to try and burn some of those calories.

Ella has been saying some new things lately. One day she was cold and she said, "momma, I so cold!!" Another time she was chugging her juice and after she swallowed it she said, "momma, I so thirsty!!" It just sounds so cute when she says the "so". She also randomly told me that she loved me the other day. I had come home from work and she came over to hug me and said "I yuv you!" Too precious!

Ella has another ear infection. I'm taking her to the doctor this afternoon. The poor thing just can't seem to catch a break from those things!

The Sun is OUT!!

It's crazy how big of a difference the sun can make. Even the dogs notice it because they always want to be outside when the sun is out. It automatically puts me in a good mood. There's just something about driving with the sunroof open and the windows down. I'm ready for my Sunday run in the sun!
I had a pretty busy week cleaning houses and working. We seem to be picking up at work which is nice because then I make more money. Always a good thing...
Our friends watched Ella on Friday night so that we could go to dinner alone. We went to our favorite sushi restaurant and had the BEST sushi ever! Yum!!! Then we went to Target and got all of Ella's Easter basket goodies. I can't wait for her egg hunt. She's gonna have a blast. I will be sure to post lots of pictures!
