What a Gorgeous Day!!

Ella in her new car seat. Time to take her infant seat out of my car. My baby is growing into a toddler!

Hugging Mom's leg. She won't let me leave her!

Can't you just hear her saying "that" in this picture? Seems to be her favorite word.

It is so nice to see the sun for once! My run today was great. I was even able to wear a tank top. Last Sunday we ran in a downpour, so it was nice run in the sun for once. I did the whole 10 miles today with Dad since we are doing the 10 mile at the Foggy Bottoms next Sunday. I hope we have the same kind of weather.

Ella is growing up so fast. She is outgrowing a lot of her 12-18 month clothes and is starting to fit into 18 month stuff. She is also starting to communicate a little more with me. She is learning how things work. Like today for example, she grabbed a wipe out of the wipe warmer and was trying to wipe her diaper area! I couldn't believe that she could comprehend what the wipes are used for. I guess she knows a lot more than I think she does just by watching what I do. She is starting to say "hello", but insists on putting her hand up to her ear like she's holding a phone when she says it. I guess these kinds of things just seem so little, but they are very exciting for me. I love watching her grow and learn. I think she is going to be smart just like her Dad.

For some reason Ella won't let me leave her side at the house. She either has to be in her high chair with me in the kitchen, or I have to be in the living room with her while she plays. I hope it's just a phase... I think she is wanting us to play with her. Maybe she is so used to having her cousins to play with during the week that she thinks she is always supposed to have a buddy to play with. I guess we're going to have to find different ways of keeping her entertained.
Oh, and she absolutely loved gymnastics!! I guess she was running around like crazy and had an awesome time. Wish I could have been there to see it. I'm just happy that Charley's sister is so willing to take care of our little girl. Don't know what I would do without her! I'm very blessed to have such an awesome family on both sides.
