Happy 2nd Father's Day to Charley!!

We had an amazing time last week hanging out as a family. We were able to go out to breakfast for Swedish pancakes!!! That is something we haven't done in a very long time since Charley works 6 days a week. They were worth every calorie. Ella even ate an entire pancake all by herself. I couldn't believe it. On Father's Day we went to Charley's sister's house for a BBQ. It was great to hang out with the family while the kiddos played in the yard. Today I took Ella to the park. After about 15 minutes she was ready to go home. She just started running toward the car. She is doing very good in her crib. She only wakes up about 2-3 times a night, but we have also seen a huge improvement in her attitude. Plus I am getting more sleep myself.

Ella has learned some new things this past week. She still loves saying hi, but now she likes to say hi Ella. Sounds more like hi yella. She has also learned how to light the burners on the stove nearly burning down the house today! Yesterday she pushed her tricycle over to the island in the kitchen so that she could stand on the seat so that she was tall enough to pull everything off the counter. She seems to be figuring things out a little too quickly for me. She's much smarter than I think she is!! Oh and how could I forget that she has learned how to open the front door as well!! I was taking the trash out last Friday and she walked right out the front door!

Annie,

I think you have a very smart and curious daughter. She will require extra vigilance.
